2/13/12 - Okay Student Council, we have been collecting money without staying after school any extra days. Thanks to all who volunteered to stay. See you Wednesday. - Mrs. Freeman and Mrs. Hicks
Last year at the end of the year we had a giant food drive that brought in lots and lots of caned goods so at the end of the year I think we should do that and on the last day (of school) we could say on the morning news what ever you want to call it we should say the total number of cans people brought in so we can end the school year on a happy note.

For our service project I think we should donate to a dog shelter that I am in contact with. I have met them in person and they would be more than happy to take in donations. I would be able to take the things to the shelter. Also if kids would like they can buy dog made paintings by a dog named Motzart. I also think maybe thing would want to be able to raffle off one of their paintings and that money can go to the shelter. You can go to there web site at www.hhdane.com and see some of the stories. I also have the email info so I can send her an email to know what we are doing.

3/6/2012 - Hello Student Council - Mrs. Hicks and I were not able to get the zipper pulls for the carnival. Instead of doing a fundraiser we would like student council to do some service projects. Remember that we can give back to Wilson without having to buy a gift. Some ideas could be to clean up Wilson or plant flowers around Wilson. Also, all of you had a lot of great ideas at the last meeting. Noah has been the only one to post it on the wiki so if you have ideas please post them. It allows Max and Tessa to have an agenda set up for the meetings. Also, Mrs. Hicks had a fun idea that we could make t-shirts to wear while we do these service projects. On another note, with the tragedy of the tornadoes hitting so close to us we may want to consider collecting items for the survivors. Please think of some ideas and post them. It will let us have a very informative meeting next Wednesday, 3/14. Thanks!! - Mrs. Freeman
